With qualifications in Psychology, Jodie began her professional career in the call centre of a major funds manager and quickly progressed to become a corporate trainer. To further her skills in training, Jodie completed a Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) from Cambridge University, achieving the highest grade awarded. She subsequently taught at two private language schools in Sydney, teaching both adults and high school students.

In continuing to be a leading team of design engineers, HMIDE has embarked on an ambitious training and development program for graduate and senior personnel alike. Jodie makes a fundamental contribution to the ongoing success of HMIDE, particularly through the development and administration of these training programs. In addition, Jodie is continually utilising her skills in refining human resource processes within the company. To further her expertise in that role, she is embarking on an MBA, majoring in Human Resource Management.
